Plymouth Engineered Oak By Simba Flooring

Plymouth is a long, wide engineered oak. Each board is 1900 mm by 190 mm, so an open main floor takes fewer boards and shows fewer joints. Planks that size want a flat subfloor, since any dip under a long board will show as movement, and we grind or fill high and low spots before we start. The total build is 15 mm with a 3.0 mm oak wear layer, thick enough to be sanded and refinished later rather than replaced. Simba wire brushes the oak and finishes it with a UV lacquer cured at the factory.
