The number that matters most on Oak Natural is the 3.0 mm wear layer. That is real oak above the core, and it gives the floor room to be sanded back and refinished years from now, which is the main reason to choose a thicker engineered board over a thin one. Total thickness is 15 mm. Simba supplies it in 1900 mm by 190 mm planks, a wide format for open living areas, with a wire brushed surface that keeps the grain visible and hides the odd scratch. The UV lacquer is factory cured, so the floor is sealed on delivery.
