Pearl River is built to 15 mm overall, a substantial board for an engineered floor, and that depth gives a firm, quiet step once it is fastened down. The top 1.2 mm is genuine oak, backed by a core that resists the seasonal movement you get with solid planks, so this is a reasonable floor for condos and rooms sitting on concrete. Boards measure 1210 mm by 165 mm, a practical size for bedrooms, offices and mid sized living rooms.
