Silk Red Oak comes in Excel or Prestige grade, and seeing both side by side is the best way to decide how much natural variation you want across the floor. It is part of Alta Moda, milled from red oak, with a brushed surface and a flat sheen that suits a lived-in family home. Construction is also your choice. Engineered Silk has 5" and 4" widths in a thickness of 11.4 or 18.4 mm, and it copes with seasonal humidity swings better than solid wood.
