Tan is a 5" wide solid hardwood in exotic walnut, part of the HandScraped collection from NAF Floors@Work. Boards are 18 mm thick, and solid wood of that thickness can be sanded and refinished rather than replaced, while lengths from 400 to 1200 mm give a staggered, natural layout. Light handscraping and high board variation help everyday marks blend in instead of standing out, and the UV coating keeps the sheen low at 5 to 8%. Fitting is by tongue and groove, nailed, stapled or glued down, and hydronic radiant heat is not suitable beneath it.
