Product Specifications
For a wide-plank oak floor, Silver Stone from Vidar Flooring's 9 inch collection is worth a close look. The boards are American white oak, 9/16 inch thick, built as engineered hardwood with a real wood veneer on top. Vidar offers that veneer at 3mm or 4mm, and the thicker layer gives more room for a future sanding. Grades run from character through select and select & better, so you can choose between a floor with more knots and variation or a calmer, more even one. The wirebrushed surface adds texture you can feel and helps hide the fine scratches that chairs and paws leave behind. It works well in bedrooms, dens and main living spaces. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Silver Stone across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
