Alexandria Designer By Grandeur Flooring

Alexandria is the beige option in Grandeur's Designer collection, sold as short 5” x 24” vinyl planks built from 5.5mm SPC over 1.5mm EVA. A rigid stone-composite core is waterproof and stable, so the planks can go in an ensuite or basement, and Grandeur rates them for on, above or below grade. The EVA layer makes the floor a little warmer and quieter to walk on. Joints are drop-lock and the floor floats, with no glue on the subfloor. The wear layer is 0.5mm, or 20 mil. Each carton weighs 13.5 lbs and holds 6.73 sq ft, so a room takes more boxes than a standard plank would.
