Product Specifications
Ambrosia is PVC laminate rather than wood, so spills, mopping and basement humidity will not make it swell or cup. It belongs to XL Flooring's Legacy range and arrives as a 5 mm plank, 48 inches by 7 inches, topped with a brushed emboss texture and a 20 mil wear layer. Its backing is dryback, so the planks are glued across the entire subfloor; a glued floor has no bounce and no gaps opening at the joints, provided the base underneath is flat, which is the part we prepare carefully. Boxes cover 23.3 square feet each. The warranty is a limited 20 years residential and a limited 10 years commercial. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Ambrosia across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
