Pearl is an American white oak herringbone in Character, Select and Select and Better grades from Vidar Design Flooring. Each fixed-length board measures 5" x ¾" and is built from multi-layer engineered hardwood under a 3mm dry sawn cut face, so the surface is genuine oak while the layered base resists movement. That stability matters in herringbone, where many short joints meet. Pearl is finished in BONA UV lacquer at an ultra matte gloss level, with a wire brush texture and micro bevel. Its Janka rating is 1320.
