Astor (01007) is part of Shaw Floors' Lexington Ave Oak HB range, style 215SA. It is engineered, with a 1.2 mm white oak veneer on a 1/2″ plank. At 4.72″ wide, the boards give a classic narrow-plank layout. Astor is installed with glue, a good match for concrete subfloors in condos and basements, and it is approved for below grade as well as on and above. Its wirebrushed texture brings out the oak grain, while the UV aluminum oxide finish at 7% gloss keeps shine to a minimum. Colour variation is high and every plank has a micro bevel.
