Product Specifications
The wear layer on Baked Alaska is 12 mil, the clear film that takes scratches and scuffs before they reach the design underneath. Baked Alaska is one of XL Flooring's LVT tiles, 24" x 12" and 5 mm thick, with a brushed emboss face. It has a dryback back, so it is installed with adhesive spread across the subfloor; that base must be level, sound and clean for the bond to last. Each carton contains 20 sf (1.86 m²). XL warrants the tile a limited 20 year in residential use and a limited 10 year commercially. Being PVC, it suits rooms where moisture rules out a wood floor. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Baked Alaska across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
