Berlin Pine can be installed either way. As a COREtec Pro Enhanced plank it can float free of the subfloor, or it can be set in direct glue, which we usually suggest for wide spans and heavy furniture. Either way the subfloor gets checked and levelled first. The board is 5.2 mm thick and 9" x 73", with a solid polymer core, attached cork backing, 20 mil of wear layer and a factory UV acrylic topcoat. Because it is rated above, on and below grade, basements are fair game. Enhanced painted bevels edge each plank, and one carton covers 36.64 sq ft. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Berlin Pine across Toronto and the GTA, with floating installation from $3.20 per square foot, or glue-down from $5.50 per square foot including glue.
