Product Specifications
Wirebrushing takes away some of the softer grain at the surface of the wood, and that is the finish Biyork uses on Alpine Chalet. The result is a textured European oak floor that hides light scratches better than a smooth one. Alpine Chalet is character grade engineered hardwood from the Nouveau 6 collection, 3/4" thick with 6-1/2" wide boards in random lengths. Knots are expected. It is suitable on, above or below grade and over radiant heat, and has an anti-bacterial coating. For households thinking long term, there is a 30-year residential warranty, and Alpine Chalet holds FloorScore certification. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Alpine Chalet across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
