Butter Tea Foundation 2520 By Twelve Oaks

Butter Tea comes from the Twelve Oaks Foundation line and uses dryback construction, which means the planks are set into adhesive and bonded to the floor underneath. Glue-down planks need a flat, clean subfloor, so we look for dips and high spots and level them before work begins. The payoff is a floor that stays put under dining chairs and rolling desk chairs. Planks measure 48" by 7-3/8" and are only 1/8" thick. The surface carries a 20 mil (0.5 mm) wear layer, and a micro V-bevelled edge marks out each board. Aim to hold the room between 65 and 80 °F, with humidity from 35% to 55%. Order on the basis of 37.2 sq ft per box. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Butter Tea across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
