Eclipse is a German-made laminate in Goodfellow's Dreamfloor Advance collection, 12 mm thick, which is the heavier end of residential laminate. The 48 hour water-resistant rating and the AC5 abrasion rating together suit a busy kitchen, a mudroom or a main-floor hallway. Planks are 7.68 inches by 50.71 inches with painted bevels along the edges, and the texture is embossed in register with the grain. Installation is floating, using the 1Clic 2go Pure+ click system, with no glue and no nails, and the floor is approved for every level of the home.
