Goodfellow Flooring

Water resistance is the easiest way to compare the 40 laminate products this brand has on our site, since every line lists a rating in hours. Oceanic 12 mm (6) leads at 80 hours, Floorpan Elite XL (11) and Floorpan Wings (5) are rated for 72, Dreamfloor Advance (10) for 48, and Hydrasafe (8) for 30.

Thickness is 12 mm across the range except Floorpan Wings, which is 8 mm. Floorpan Elite XL, Floorpan Wings and Dreamfloor Advance carry an AC5 abrasion rating, while Hydrasafe and Oceanic 12 mm are AC4. Plank widths run from 6.5" in Hydrasafe to 7.75" in Floorpan Wings, and Oceanic 12 mm has the longest board at 59". Every line floats on a click system (Uniclic, Unifit, 1Clic 2go Pure+ or 5G Drop Lock), has painted bevels and is listed for all levels.

For basements, laundry rooms and kitchens, the 72 and 80 hour lines give the most margin for spills. Dreamfloor Advance and Floorpan Elite XL, with AC5 ratings and 12 mm boards, suit busy family homes with pets. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Goodfellow Flooring laminate across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
