Biyork

The laminate we carry from this brand is one line, Riptide, made up of eight colours that all share the same build. Every plank is a water-resistance laminate measuring 7-1/2" x 48" and 12mm thick, so the choice comes down to colour rather than comparing specs between products.

The practical features suit busy households. The antibacterial coating and AC4 surface rating make it a reasonable choice for kitchens, playrooms and homes with pets, and water resistance adds protection against everyday spills near sinks and entrances. Painted bevels outline each plank, the texture is embossed across the whole surface, and the planks are FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. Installation uses the Välinge 5G click system, so the floor floats over the subfloor without glue.

Colours include Black Pearl, Hurricane, Offshore, Point Break, Rain Dance, Reef, Tidal Wave and Whirlpool. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Biyork laminate across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
