Drywise Elemental 12

Two plank formats make up this laminate line, both 12 mm thick with an AC4 wear rating and a 4D EIR surface texture that follows the printed grain. Seven colours use a wide, long board of 9.29" x 59.76" (236 mm x 1518 mm), joined with the Välinge 5G system. Five planks fill a box that covers 19.28 sq ft, so a large living room or open main floor goes down with fewer seams.

Akita-H is the exception. Its planks are 6.5" x 31.49" (165 mm x 800 mm), with painted bevel edges and a Välinge 2G locking system, and a box of 8 pieces covers 11.37 sq ft. The shorter size suits hallways and smaller rooms where a long board would feel out of scale.

The AC4 rating handles kids, pets and daily traffic in most rooms of the house. Colours are Akita, Akita-H, Nagasaki, Nara, Nikko, Noto, Shikoku and Uji. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Drywise Elemental 12 across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
