Golden Choice Laminate Flooring
On our site, Golden Choice laminate is split into five collections with 29 styles in total: Laminate 1010’s (6), Laminate 1020’s (6), Laminate 1030’s (6), Laminate 1040’s (5) and 12.3mm Water Resistant Laminate (6). Every line is about 12.3 mm (0.485”) thick, uses a click system and carries an AC3 rating, with CE, CARB II, EPA and FloorScore certifications listed.
Width is the main difference between the numbered collections. Laminate 1010’s is 5” wide, 1020’s is 5.66”, 1030’s is 6.49” and 1040’s is 7.677”, with the 1040’s also listed in 24”, 48” and 72” lengths. Narrow planks suit bedrooms and smaller rooms, while the wider boards suit open main floors. For kitchens, entries and laundry areas, the 12.3mm Water Resistant Laminate is the line to pick, keeping in mind that water resistant is not waterproof.
Style examples include Kona Oak, Thermo Ash, Tobacco Grey and Ravine Dark. An AC3 surface stands up well to kids, pets and busy hallways. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Golden Choice laminate across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Golden Choice flooring cost installed in Toronto?
Laminate is from $3.20 per square foot. Engineered hardwood is from $4.90 nailed or glued, including the glue and the nails, or $3.20 where it clicks and floats. Taking up your old floor is included, the floor itself is priced on top, and the figure is fixed in writing after a free in-home measure. Herringbone and chevron are quoted per job.
Is Golden Choice laminate waterproof?
Read the label carefully, because water-resistant and waterproof are not the same thing. Water-resistant handles a spill you wipe up, not standing water. For a basement or a laundry room we would usually point you at vinyl instead.
Can I see Golden Choice samples before I decide?
Samples come with us to the free in-home measure, so you can hold them against your own walls and cabinets.
Do you install Golden Choice outside Toronto?
Yes. Toronto and the whole GTA, and for larger jobs as far out as Wasaga Beach, Niagara Falls and Castleton.
