12.3mm Water Resistant Laminate

This is the water-resistant line in the Golden Choice laminate range, and it is the one to look at when a kitchen, front entry or laundry area is on the list. All six styles share one build: planks 48” long and 12.3 mm (0.485”) thick, with an AC3 rating. AC3 means the wear surface is made for heavy traffic in a home, so hallways and family rooms with kids and pets are well within its range.

Water resistant is not the same as waterproof, so spills and wet boots should still be wiped up rather than left to sit. The planks lock together with a click system, which keeps installation quick and tidy. Certifications listed are CE, CARB II, EPA and FloorScore; the last three deal with formaldehyde emissions and indoor air quality. Each carton covers 15.60 sq ft and weighs 39.18 lbs, handy to know when you are counting boxes for a room or carrying them up to a condo.
