Laminate 1030’s

For open-concept main floors, the 1030’s planks from Golden Choice come in at 6.49” (165 mm) wide, so a large room ends up with fewer long seams. They run 48” (1219 mm) in length and 12.33 mm (0.485”) in thickness.

This line carries an AC3 rating, a grade suited to heavy traffic in a house, from the kitchen to a kids’ playroom. Planks join using a click system. Certifications named in the specs are CE, CARB II, EPA and FloorScore, standards that address emissions and air quality indoors. Laminate does not like standing water, so a leaking dishwasher or a flooded basement is still a risk worth keeping in mind. For most main-floor rooms, though, it is a durable, low-fuss surface.
