Riptide

Water resistance paired with an antibacterial coating makes this Biyork laminate a good match for family kitchens, mudrooms and pet areas. The planks measure 7-1/2" x 48" with a 12mm thickness, and every colour in the line uses that same size.

An AC4 wear rating means the surface resists scratches and scuffs from normal household traffic, and the overall embossed texture adds a grain feel underfoot. Painted bevel edges define each board, so the floor reads as individual planks. The line is FloorScore Certified.

For installation, planks join with the Välinge 5G click system, where each short end drops down into the row, and the floor floats without glue or nails. That makes it a sensible option for condo renovations where a clean, quick install matters. As with any laminate, wipe up standing water rather than letting it sit. The eight colours are Whirlpool, Tidal Wave, Reef, Rain Dance, Point Break, Offshore, Hurricane and Black Pearl. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Riptide across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
