Hydrasafe

This Goodfellow line uses a narrower 6.5" x 48" plank, 12 mm thick, which gives a more traditional board pattern than wide planks. It is water-resistant laminate rated for 30 hours, with an embossed-in-register surface that follows the printed grain and an AC4 abrasion rating for busy households.

The painted bevels have waxed edges, which help keep moisture out of the joints. Planks float on a 5G Drop Lock system, where the short end drops into place, so the job goes quickly and there is no glue. Goodfellow lists it for all levels of the home. With 30 hours of water resistance, everyday spills in kitchens and hallways are fine as long as they are wiped up the same day. A box covers 12.96 sq ft.

The eight colours are Baffin, Baltic, Beaufort, Caledonia, Celtic, McKinley, Melville and Seawood, and Baffin is marked as limited stock. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Hydrasafe across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
