Grand Bay #2182

Grand Bay (2182) is rated IIC 71 and STC 72 for sound, the kind of detail a condo board asks about before approving a new floor. It is an SPC plank from the Tidal collection under the HydraLuxe Rigid name, 4.4 mm thick overall, with a rigid stone-composite core that will not swell if water sits on it. The 1 mm EVA foam backing comes attached, which softens the step and saves buying underlay. Its wood design is medium embossed at a mat gloss, under a UV-cured polyurethane and ceramic bead surface. Planks measure 5.906" by 48.031" and float on a Välinge 2G lock. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Grand Bay across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
