Tidal

Tidal is a slimmer HydraLuxe Rigid SPC plank, 4.4 mm thick and 150 mm wide. The narrower board gives a traditional strip-floor look that fits hallways and smaller bedrooms, and the lower profile helps where floor height is tight.

The planks connect with a Välinge 2G angle-to-angle lock, so the installer tilts each long edge into the row before and presses it down to float the floor. The rigid core is waterproof, which means laundry rooms, kitchens and basements are all fine. All six colours have a medium embossed texture, a mat sheen and micro-bevelled edges. The surface is UV-cured polyurethane with ceramic bead technology, rated for heavy residential and light commercial use, and the sound ratings are IIC 71 and STC 72.

Colours are Evandale, Fundy, Grand Bay, Swim Point, Trinity and Wesport. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Tidal across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
