Varia

Varia is the lightly embossed option among these PermaLuxe dry back planks, so its surface has a gentler texture that is easy to sweep and mop. All six colours share it: Alternation, Avatar, Contrast, Distinction, Diversity and Variety.

Dry back vinyl is installed with adhesive. The planks are 3 mm thick and 187 mm wide, so they add little height at doorways, but they do need a flat, smooth subfloor to look right. Once bonded, the floor will not shift or lift at the ends.

Each plank is virgin PVC. Its topcoat of UV-cured polyurethane and ceramic bead technology has a mat look and is graded for general commercial abrasion, a comfortable margin for a family kitchen or a busy rental. Edges have a micro bevel on four sides. For sound, the planks are rated IIC 62 and STC 68. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Varia across Toronto and the GTA.
