Seaside

Seaside planks have a dry back, which means they are glued down to the subfloor instead of clicked together. This PermaLuxe luxury vinyl is 3 mm thick and 187 mm wide, so it adds very little height at doorways and stair nosings. A glued floor stays put under rolling office chairs and heavy furniture, as long as the subfloor is flat and well prepared first.

Four colours, Adriatic, Baltic, Caribbean and Caspian, have registered embossing that follows the grain. Flores and Solomon have a medium emboss instead. The planks are virgin PVC with a UV-cured polyurethane surface and ceramic bead technology, a mat sheen and a general commercial abrasion rating. Edges have a micro bevel. IIC 62 and STC 68 are the listed sound ratings. Kitchens, basements on a sound slab and rental suites all make sense for a floor like this.
