Toucan

Most of the 134 products in this range are SPC click planks. The numbered SPC lines are rated 100% waterproof, use a drop-lock joint and have an underpad attached, so there is no separate underlay to buy. They suit basements, kitchens and condos.

Across the SPC lines, thickness runs from 4.2 mm to 9 mm and wear layers from 12 to 20 mil. SPC3 is the slimmest at 4.2 mm with a 1 mm pad, and SPC1 is 5.5 mm, both at 12 mil. SPC2 steps up to 6.5 mm and 20 mil, SPC4 is a 7 mm plank 1520 mm long, and SPC6 is 8 mm and 230 mm wide. SPC7 is also 8 mm but 152 mm wide, and SPC9 is the thickest at 9 mm, with a 2 mm pad and embossed-in-register surface. With pets in the house, pick a 20 mil line.

For a thinner floor, TFGD2 is a 2.5 mm glue-down plank with a 20 mil wear layer, and TFL6 and TFL62 are 5 mm planks listed without a locking system or pad. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Toucan vinyl across Toronto and the GTA. Frequently asked questions

How much does Toucan flooring cost installed in Toronto?
Click vinyl is from $3.20 per square foot and glue-down from $5.50 with the glue included. Laminate is from $3.20 per square foot. Taking up your old floor is included, the floor itself is priced on top, and the figure is fixed in writing after a free in-home measure.

Is Toucan vinyl waterproof?
The board itself is waterproof, which is why it suits basements, kitchens and entryways. Water that gets underneath still has to be dried out, so a leak is still a problem - just not one that ruins the planks.

Can I see Toucan samples before I decide?
Samples come with us to the free in-home measure, so you can hold them against your own walls and cabinets.

Do you install Toucan outside Toronto?
Yes. Toronto and the whole GTA, and for larger jobs as far out as Wasaga Beach, Niagara Falls and Castleton.
