SPC3

At 4.2 mm, SPC3 is the thinnest board in Toucan's SPC range, which helps where you need to keep door and dishwasher clearances or limit the step up from a neighbouring floor. The low profile still includes a 1 mm attached pad and a 12 mil wear layer, a reasonable level for bedrooms, dens and lighter-traffic living areas.

Planks measure 48.04 x 7.21 inches and show a real antique wood texture. They are listed as 100% waterproof, so spills in a kitchen or powder room wipe up without harming the boards. Installation is floating: the drop-lock edges connect plank to plank with no adhesive. A thin floor like this will show dips in the subfloor, so we check flatness before laying it. Toucan's listed warranty runs 30 years for homes and 10 for commercial use.

There are twelve colours, mostly cool greys: Pebble, Black Forest, Barnwood, Orchestra, Stone, Sage Grey, Concrete, Snow Drift, White Ash, Maple Nature, Wicker and Nude. 22FLOORING supplies and installs SPC3 across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
