About the collection
MSI Vinyl Flooring
MSI vinyl covers 277 products in 19 Everlife collections, in three groups. Wilmont, Katavia, Glenridge and Acclima are dryback planks that glue down, 2 mm to 2.5 mm thick with wear layers from 6 to 20 mil. They need a flat subfloor and add little height. Acclima skips acclimation, and Wilmont's 20 mil layer is the pick for kids and pets.
The largest group is rigid core with an attached acoustic pad, 4.4 mm to 9 mm thick with wear layers from 6 to 30 mil. Most use a click lock and float with no separate underlay, which quiets footsteps in condos and upper floors. Ashton, Cyrus and Andover are 7" x 48" planks, and the XL versions of Ashton, Cyrus and Prescott run 9" x 60". Trecento and XL Trecento swap wood grain for marble, stone and encaustic tiles.
Laurel Reserve, Wayne Parc and Wayne Parc Reserve are the thickest at 8 mm to 12 mm, with boards up to 72 inches long. Outside Studio and XL Studio, every collection lists radiant heating as compatible. 22FLOORING supplies and installs MSI vinyl flooring across Toronto and the GTA. Our MSI flooring review answers what we get asked in the showroom: how thick the wear layer is, what the warranty covers and what installation costs.
Frequently asked questions
How much does MSI flooring cost installed in Toronto?
Click vinyl is from $3.20 per square foot and glue-down from $5.50 with the glue included. The floor itself is priced separately, and the figure is fixed in writing after a free in-home measure.
Is MSI vinyl waterproof?
The board itself is waterproof, which is why it suits basements, kitchens and entryways. Water that gets underneath still has to be dried out, so a leak is still a problem - just not one that ruins the planks.
Can I see MSI samples before I decide?
Samples come with us to the free in-home measure, so you can hold them against your own walls and cabinets.
Do you install MSI outside Toronto?
Yes. Toronto and the whole GTA, and for larger jobs as far out as Wasaga Beach, Niagara Falls and Castleton.
