Light is one of the Sahara laminates by Impressive Floors. The build is straightforward and sturdy: a 12 mm HDF core, an AC5 graded wear surface, waxed EIR texture at medium gloss and painted bevels in the grooves. Planks measure about 7″ across and 60″ end to end. They interlock, so there is no adhesive to cure and nothing nailed down, and they can be laid over plywood or concrete at any level of the building. The AC5 grade covers commercial spaces too, which tells you how the floor should handle a busy family entrance.
