Petra Red Oak

Petra Red Oak belongs to the Heritage collection and is built as solid hardwood, so each board is one piece of red oak. It measures 4 1/4" across and 3/4" thick, in the Excel grade. The finish pairs a flat sheen with a textured, brushed surface. That low-shine, textured combination is practical in a front hall or family room, where a glossy floor would show every scratch. Plan for installation on the main or upper floors over a wood subfloor, since solid wood reacts to moisture and does not belong below grade. Down the road, the full thickness of solid wood allows the floor to be refinished instead of torn out. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Petra Red Oak across Toronto and the GTA, with solid hardwood installation from $4.50 per square foot.
