Appalachian Flooring

In solid hardwood, Appalachian Flooring has 98 styles on our site across five lines: Signature (47), Alta Moda (25), Green Mountain (10), Verità (10) and Heritage (6). The species are red oak, white oak, hard maple, hickory and birch. Most styles can be ordered two ways, as 3/4" solid boards or as engineered planks 11.4 mm to 18.4 mm thick. Heritage and the birch colours are solid only.

Solid widths run from 2 1/4" to 4 1/4", and engineered widths from 4" to 7", with the 7" size limited to white oak and hard maple. Finish is what really separates the lines. Signature is smooth with a choice of semi-gloss or ultra-matte, Verità is smooth and flat, Alta Moda is brushed and flat, Green Mountain pairs a brushed face with ultra-matte, and Heritage is textured and brushed. The brushed, low-sheen lines hide scratches and dust better in homes with pets and kids, while smooth boards give a cleaner look in living and dining rooms. For basements and condo slabs, ask about the engineered versions.
