Sonora Birch

Sonora Birch is a solid hardwood floor from the Signature collection, milled 3/4" thick from birch in the Excel grade. That thickness matters over time: a solid board can be sanded and refinished several times, so a worn floor can be brought back rather than replaced. Widths are 2 1/4", 3 1/4" and 4 1/4", which lets you go with a narrow strip look in a hallway or a broader board in a living room. The surface is smooth, and the finish comes in either semi-gloss or ultra-matte. Solid wood is best suited to rooms on or above grade, such as bedrooms, dining rooms and main-floor living spaces. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Sonora Birch across Toronto and the GTA, with solid hardwood installation from $4.50 per square foot.
