Whirlwind Surewood Plus By Twelve Oaks

Whirlwind is rated high for colour variation, so the medium grey tone shifts noticeably from one board to the next and the finished floor has more movement in it. Planks run 11/32" x 8-7/8" x 72". Each box holds 26.62 sq ft. Because the variation is high, it is worth opening several boxes and laying boards out before the pattern is fixed. The core is WPC, a wood plastic composite, and the wear layer is 20 mil (0.5 mm). It floats over the subfloor, and Twelve Oaks specifies 18 to 27 °C in the room, with humidity of 35% to 55%. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Whirlwind across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
