Product Specifications
Almond is a vinyl plank from XL Flooring's Designer range, made of laminated PVC and carrying a long warranty: 35 years residential and 20 years commercial. The board is 48" by 7" and 5 mm thick, with a brushed emboss surface texture and a 20 mil wear layer above the print. Its base layer is dryback, so the plank is bonded to the subfloor with adhesive and takes no underlay; XL lists the installation method as Tight-Fit. Glued floors need a flat, dry and clean base, so we assess and prepare the subfloor before any adhesive is spread. PVC through the body means damp will not swell the plank, which helps in a basement or a laundry area. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Almond across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
