Glue Down LVT Flooring

This is XL Flooring's dryback vinyl plank line, sold under the Foundation Plank name. Dryback means the plank has no click edge and no pad: it is glued directly to a smooth subfloor. A glued floor stays put under office chairs, heavy furniture and constant traffic, so it makes sense in rentals, home offices and basements that get hard use.

The planks are 48 x 7 inches and 3 mm thick, with a 20 mil wear layer and a brushed emboss finish. Micro-bevelled edges outline each board without the deep grooves that collect dirt. Construction is listed as LVP, a PVC laminate. Each carton covers 35 sq ft, and XL lists a 10-year warranty for both residential and commercial use. With a floor this thin, the prep under it matters, so the subfloor gets patched and levelled before any adhesive goes down.
