Fonseca – Foundation Plank by XL Flooring

Fonseca is built from PVC laminate, listed by XL Flooring as LVP, which is why humidity and spills do not swell it the way they would swell a wood board. It sits in the Foundation Plank collection. The plank is 3 mm thick, 177.8 mm wide and 1219 mm long, with micro-bevel edges and a brushed emboss surface. Dryback backing is made for adhesive, so the floor is glued over its whole area and does not move; that also means levelling and cleaning the subfloor before the first board goes down. A 20 mil wear layer sits over the print. Cartons hold 35 sf each and cover runs 10 years residential, 10 years commercial. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Fonseca across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
