Product Specifications
Taransa belongs to the Foundation Plank range from XL Flooring, a PVC laminate product rather than a wood one. Its dryback backing carries no attached pad, so the planks are set into adhesive and stay tight to what is underneath, with no underlay in the build-up. The base therefore has to be flat and clean before we begin. At 3 mm the plank is slim, which keeps the new surface close to the old height in doorways. Boards run 1219 mm long by 177.8 mm wide with micro-bevel edges, a brushed emboss texture and a 20 mil wear layer. Coverage is 35 sf per carton, and cover runs 10 years at home and 10 years commercially. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Taransa across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
