If your subfloor is concrete, Stepping Stone (07080) can be glued or floated, and over a wood subfloor it can be nailed or stapled as well. This hickory floor is part of Shaw Floors' Arbor Place style, SW512. Its engineered construction, a 1.2 mm veneer on a 3/8″ plank, is what lets it go below grade as well as on and above, and over radiant heat. Board width is 5″, lengths run from 13.8″ to 47.24″, and edges have a micro bevel. The scraped surface is sealed in UV aluminum oxide with an 8% gloss level. Colour variation is high.
