Mocha Mist (120) is a 5 mm luxury vinyl plank in Next Floor's Level Best ll 460 range. Sound is the headline here: a 1 mm natural cork layer combined with a modified PVC compound cuts noise transmission, and the tested results are Delta IIC 20, IIC 72 and STC 63. On top sits a 20 mil UV-cured urethane wear layer, tough enough for hallways, kitchens and rental units, with a four-sided bevel around every 48 inch board. The floor is bonded down with adhesive, so it feels solid underfoot with no hollow click.
