Fuzion Flooring Review (2026)
An installer’s look at Fuzion: 425 products across hardwood, laminate and vinyl, the 35-year warranties, and what each costs installed in Toronto.

Quick answer
Where the numbers come from
Every figure below comes from the spec sheets of the 425 Fuzion products on our site as of September 2026. Where a sheet does not state something, we say so rather than fill the gap. We have not run our own wear tests and we do not give star ratings.
The range side by side
The 20 inch tiles are not planks
Thirty-seven Fuzion sheets are 20 inches wide. Those are tile-format vinyl, meant to read as stone squares rather than wood boards, and they behave differently on site: a wide square shows subfloor unevenness far more readily than a narrow plank, because there is more unsupported area between high points.
If you are considering them, levelling is not optional. We check flatness while we measure and tell you what the floor needs before anything is ordered.
Loose lay is the one to understand
Fifty-one sheets list loose lay with perimeter glue or tape – the plank is held by its own weight and friction, with adhesive only round the edges. It is quick, it lifts cleanly years later, and it suits a rental or a room you expect to change.
It is also the least forgiving of a bad subfloor. There is nothing holding the middle of the floor down, so any dip becomes a hollow spot you can feel. On a flat floor it is excellent; on a wavy one it is the wrong choice.
What to check before you buy
Which of the three materials. Fuzion covers hardwood, laminate and vinyl, and the collection names do not say which.
Your install method. Stapled or glued hardwood is $4.90 per square foot; the same board floated is $3.20.
Subfloor flatness, especially for the 20 inch tiles and anything loose lay.
What it costs installed
Floating laminate and click vinyl are from $3.20 per square foot, glue-down vinyl from $5.50 including glue, and engineered hardwood nailed or glued from $4.90 including glue and nails. Engineered that only clicks and floats is from $3.20. Taking up your old floor is included, the floor itself is priced on top, and the full list is on our flooring installation cost page. For how we install it, see our pages on vinyl flooring installation in Toronto and engineered hardwood installation in Toronto.

Frequently asked questions
Is Fuzion flooring good quality?
The specifications hold up well: 35-year residential and lifetime structural warranties on 155 sheets, embossed-in-register finishes across much of the range, and 3/4 inch engineered hardwood at the top end. The 12 mil vinyl lines are the thin end and we would not put those in a hallway. Judge the collection rather than the brand – it spans a wide price range.
Is Fuzion Canadian?
Fuzion is a Canadian flooring brand. Where individual products are manufactured varies by line and the sheets do not always state it, so we will not claim more than that.
What is loose lay flooring?
A vinyl plank held down by its own weight and friction, with adhesive only around the perimeter rather than across the whole floor. It fits quickly and lifts cleanly later, but it needs a very flat subfloor – there is nothing holding the middle down, so a dip becomes a hollow spot underfoot.
Can Fuzion hardwood be floated over concrete?
Many of the hardwood sheets allow stapling, gluing or floating, so yes where the sheet permits it. Floating is also the cheaper installation at $3.20 rather than $4.90. We test the slab for moisture and flatness while we measure.
How wide are Fuzion planks?
Most are 7 or 7 1/2 inches. Thirty-seven products are 20 inches wide, but those are tile-format squares rather than planks, and they need a properly levelled subfloor to sit flat.
