T63

Every colour in T63 sits in the medium to dark range, so this is the Toucan line to look at if you want a deeper floor. Each board is 1215 mm by 196 mm and 12.3 mm thick, on an HDF core with an AC4 rating that handles the wear of kids, pets and busy living areas.

The surface is embossed in register, meaning the texture follows the printed grain, and the core is rated to resist water for 36 hours. That gives you time to find and wipe up a spill, though it is still laminate and not meant for a wet bathroom. Planks join with a drop lock and have no pad attached, so plan for an underlay. Toucan lists a 30-year residential and 15-year commercial warranty, and a box holds 8 planks.

The 11 colours are Loft Grey, Flash, Cloudy, Copper, Ocean Grey, Lava Stone, Shore, Black Forest, Warm Chestnut, Dashed Oak and Organic. 22FLOORING supplies and installs T63 across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
