Regal

A 7" wide, 60" (1515 mm) long plank puts this line in a classic board size that sits comfortably in bedrooms, condos and regular-sized living rooms. It is narrower than either Platino format, and it shares its dimensions with Sahara, so choosing between those two comes down to colour.

The planks are built on a 12 mm HDF core with an AC5 grade, which gives good resistance to wear from pets, children and everyday foot traffic. A waxed EIR surface matches the embossing to the wood print, the gloss level is medium, and each edge has a painted bevel. Boards go down with an interlocking system over plywood or concrete, and they are approved for any level of the home, basements included. Use is listed as residential and commercial, backed by 35 years (structural) for homes and 3 years (structural) for commercial spaces.

The eight colours are Cameo, Dream, Harmony, Linen, Matte, Mellow, Moon and Shell. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Regal across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
