Water’s Edge 301 by Next Floor
This 12 mm Next Floor laminate lists a thickness swell result of Class 4 under NALFA 3.2, the test that measures how much a board swells after it takes on water. That is useful to know for kitchens and entryways where spills happen. Boards are 7.7" wide and 47.8" long, embossed in register. The bevel is colour-enhanced on all four sides, and its AC4 abrasion class carries a commercial traffic rating.
A fold-down click joins the boards, so the end joint folds in rather than being tapped, and the floor floats on, above or below grade. Radiant heat is fine if it is water-based, but electric systems are not approved. At 7 pieces and 39 lbs per carton, each box covers 17.9 sq ft.
