Engineered Hickory-Wire Brushed

Wire brushing, rather than distressing, is what defines this hickory line. The brush pulls the softer wood out of the grain, leaving a surface you can feel underfoot without the hand-worn marks of a distressed board. Combined with hickory's hardness and busy grain, it copes well with pets, kids and high-traffic hallways.

The boards are also wider than the distressed hickory, at 7 1/2" across and 3/4" thick (190.5 x 19 mm), in random lengths. Wide hickory planks show off the species' colour swings and suit open living spaces and larger rooms. As an engineered product, the plank is more stable through Toronto's humidity changes than solid wood this wide. Golden Choice lists CE, CARB II, EPA and FloorScore certifications for the line.

A carton covers 19.43 sq ft and weighs 55 lbs, with 50 cartons (972.5 sq ft) per pallet.
