Conquest

Long, thick boards are the draw here. Each plank is 12 mm thick, 7.598" (193 mm) wide and 54.449" (1383 mm) long, so a room shows fewer end joints and the floor has a solid feel underfoot. The oak visuals have an embossed texture under an aluminum oxide surface with a mat sheen, and all four edges are micro-bevelled.

Its AC4 abrasion rating and Class 32 general commercial listing mean it handles busy living rooms, bedrooms and home offices, including homes with dogs. The planks connect on a Välinge 2G locking system and float, and because no pad comes attached, an underlay is added during installation. The print runs through 10 different plank faces before repeating. This is the regular PrimaPlanks version; if the room sees water, the Conquest Xtra sibling is the water-resistant option.

Four oak colours are available: Aurelian, Barbarossa, Ferdinand and William. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Conquest across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
