Galaxi II

Narrower boards and a patina replica finish give this PrimaPlanks line an aged-wood character. Planks are 6.260" (159 mm) wide and 10 mm thick, with a medium gloss rather than a flat mat, and micro bevels on all four edges. The design cycles through 16 plank faces before repeating, so the grain looks varied across a large room.

The AC3 rating, Class 23-31, covers heavy residential and light commercial use. In a home that makes bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and upstairs hallways good fits. The boards drop and lock on the Välinge 5G system and float over the subfloor. No underlay comes attached, so a separate pad is part of the job. It sits in the regular sub category, not a water-resistant one, so keep it out of bathrooms and basements prone to damp.

Five colours are oak (Australis, Centaurus, Columba, Draco and Ursa), and Bode is a walnut visual. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Galaxi II across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
