Evolution Magma XL Series

Wider boards are the point of the XL version. At 7" across and 48" long, the planks make a room look more open and put fewer long seams across the floor, which suits larger living rooms, family rooms and open main floors. Each box holds 28.36 sq ft.

Thickness is listed as 4.0 mm to 5.0 mm. Every colour has an attached 1 mm underlayment, a 0.3 mm wear layer and painted bevels along the edges. The planks join with a glueless click locking system and float over the subfloor, and the residential grade makes this a floor for homes rather than shops or offices. Warranty coverage is 25-year residential and 5-year commercial.

Bromo, Helka, Phoenix and Zao have a super matt finish; Boa, Mata, Merapi and Wheat carry an antique wood finish. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Evolution Magma XL Series across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
