Nová Pec series

Nová Pec is built differently from Aveiro and Cascais. Instead of a plywood core, each board is listed as Solid (Spruce Core + Birch Back), with a 3 mm white oak veneer on top. The grade is Select & Better (AB), a cleaner grade than the Select (ABC) boards in Cascais, so expect a calm, even floor.

Every colour is the same size, 7-1/2" wide and 3/4" thick in random lengths, with a brushed texture, micro V-bevelled edges and a UV lacquer with aluminum oxide. That consistency makes it easy to compare the ten colours side by side: Apex, Ashland, Chester, Duncan, Hopewell, Morrisville, Moseley, New Hill, Parkton and Wade. The wide, clean boards suit open main floors and living rooms, and on, above or below grade installs are all listed.

Each box covers 19.43 sq ft. Purelux lists a 30-year limited residential and 8-year limited commercial warranty. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Nová Pec across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
